Get ready to celebrate all of the world’s wonderful animals. World Animal Day is on October 4th, and it’s the perfect time to appreciate and advocate for critters all over the planet.

This international day of action began in 1925. Sometimes called Animal Welfare Day or World Animal Protection Day, the event is intended to unite “the animal welfare movement, mobilising it into a global force to make the world a better place for all animals.”
