The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got a huge win Sunday over the Seattle Seahawks in Germany, but they finished the game without one of their top offensive weapons.
Running back Leonard Fournette left the game with a hip injury, and didn’t return.
An initial report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter indicated Fournette’s injury wasn’t serious, and that he would “likely” be able to return after the bye week for Tampa Bay’s Week 12 road trip to face the Cleveland Browns.
Speaking with the media Monday, Bucs head coach Todd Bowles wasn’t quite ready to give a specific timetable for Fournette’s return.
“Too early to tell, right now,” Bowles said. “We’ll get the treatment, and we’ll reevaluate next week.”
Fournette rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries Sunday, while rookie third-round pick Rachaad White led the Bucs with 104 rushing yards on 22 carries.
