The final College Football Playoff rankings are out ahead of college football’s championship Saturday as well as the CFP Selection Show on Sunday morning.
Although there is still plenty to be determined, it’s a great guide to use in terms of playing the big “what if” game with this weekends matchups.
Heres how the latest CFP Rankings look:

No surprise as 1-5 stay the same yet again but some shakeups behind them as Iowa State moves up to six.
Yes, that Iowa State team that has two losses on the year, including a 31-14 loss at home to Louisiana.
For the life of me I can’t figure out how Florida loses at home to a team that got boat-raced by Mississippi State, lost to Missouri and was taken to the woodshed by Alabama, but only managed to fall one spot to seven while Georgia checks in right behind them.
Find someone who will love and defend you like the CFP Committee does Florida and Georgia.

Cincinnati gets less than no love for their efforts as they check in ninth before two-loss Oklahoma rounds out the top ten.
If ever there was a year for a Group of Five to get real consideration you’d think this was it but that’s clearly not the case as the Bearcats continue to be pushed aside for two-loss teams.
The other surprise to some is USC not checking in until 13. They may be unbeaten but apparently narrowly escaping time and time again has done nothing to impress the committee. I’m not saying I’d have them knocking on the door of a CFP bid but 13 feels low.
