The NBA trade deadline is bizarre and it has human consequences that greatly impact the personal lives of individuals all around the league.
After the recent events, two such players were Josh Hart and Larry Nance Jr. They were both included as key pieces in a deal that sent CJ McCollum from the Trail Blazers to the Pelicans.
But rather than scrambling to find housing in Portland and New Orleans, the two players had a rather innovative idea.
Hart and Nance were teammates on the Lakers during Hart’s rookie season in 2017-18. While the two players only appeared on the floor together for 628 minutes before Nance was traded to the Cavaliers before the trade deadline in 2018, they stayed in contact.
Larry Nance said him and Josh Hart are just swapping houses for now. Said he wishes he would’ve been here to play with one of his best friends.
Called his surgery a minor procedure and he said he hopes to be back on the floor soon.
