Lance Nisbet signs with Tennessee

Lance Nisbet signs with Tennessee.

Tennessee men’s tennis announced the signing of Lance Nisbet on Thursday.

“I am thrilled Lance will be joining our team,” Tennessee associate head coach James McKie said. “I have personally known the Nisbet family for a long time growing up in Scotland. I know he will improve tremendously in our program and value what we believe in. It’s also great to have another player come to Tennessee from the Merchiston Tennis Academy in Edinburgh who do a fantastic job in the development of their students.”

The Edinburgh, Scotland, native ranks inside the top 20 amongst 17-year-olds in the United Kingdom and currently serves as a tennis captain at Merchiston Tennis Academy.
