LaMelo Ball continued his tweetstorms on Sunday, a trend that included him discussing leaving school early last week, by predicting the rest of the NBA playoffs. As the Nuggets closed out a comeback win over the Clippers to force a Game 7, Ball took to his Twitter to start offering up predictions.
Currently, the Lakers are awaiting the winner of the Clippers-Nuggets series in the Western Conference Finals while the Celtics and Heat are set to battle in the Eastern Conference Finals. Ball, a California native, reacted to the possibility that a long-time rivalry might be renewed in the Finals this year.

A follower replied saying “this must be your dad talking” before Ball revealed that his father LaVar was predicting the Clippers to win it all.

While Lonzo, a presumably LaMelo, haven’t held much bitterness to the Lakers for last summer’s trade that brought Anthony Davis to Los Angeles, LaVar has made his feelings in the opposite direction known. LaVar went as far as to predict the Pelicans to beat the Lakers in the playoffs, a scenario that, obviously, did not come close to playing out.
