Back before LaMelo Ball was set to become a lottery pick in the NBA Draft, he was lighting up the competition last summer at The Drew League in Los Angeles.

Ball used last summer in The Drew League as a tune-up before heading over to play in the National Basketball League in Australia. Ball played several games with No Shnacks before his time at the Drew ended with a defeat in the playoffs.

Ball scored 24 points for No Shnacks to help spur a 24-point comeback to force overtime in that game last August. In order to get to overtime, though, Ball turned in a very Reggie Miller-like performance by scoring 11 points in the final 45 seconds, courtesy of BallisLife.

The Drew League has become an annual summer tradition in L.A. as several high-profile players have been known to show up and play, including James Harden, Chris Paul and DeMar DeRozan among others. Unfortunately, the 2020 season has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
