Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball and Seattle Storm guard Katie Lou Samuelson helped debut PUMA’s new Court Rider shoe as part of the brand’s Rider family, a performance basketball shoe that fuses the timeless style of the Rider franchise with the latest basketball technology from PUMA Hoops, creating the perfect sneaker for play on and off the court.
The Court Rider features a full-length Rider foam midsole engineered specifically for basketball, a full-coverage rubber outsole with PUMA’s high abrasion rubber material and a dynamic lacing system around the forefoot for enhanced stability and support.
Since joining PUMA, Ball helped launch his ApolloZo collaboration with the company and was also a part of the J. Cole Dreamer relaunch. With Ball, PUMA saw sales increase last year, though that’s not entirely attributed to him alone.
The Court Rider Twofold, retailing for $100, will be available starting April 13, on PUMA.com, at the PUMA NYC Flagship Store and select retailers.
