The Baltimore Ravens held their second day of mandatory minicamp on Wednesday after having a good opening practice on Tuesday. The reps that the players get in the summer will pay dividends when the regular season starts, as they’re using this time to get in shape and gel with their teammates.
After Jackson and the rest of the quarterbacks reportedly had an up and down day on Tuesday, he rebounded nicely on Wednesday. According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Jackson had “probably his best day” in practices that have been open to the media.
Day 2 of Ravens minicamp just concluded with Binjimen Victor making a contested catch downfield, spurring friendly trash talk between offense and defense. Offense made lot of plays today. Lamar Jackson probably had his best day, at least the practices open to media. He was sharp.

Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun shared an unofficial count of Jackson’s day on Wednesday.
Lamar Jackson ended mandatory minicamp with an impressive bounce-back performance.
Unofficially, he went 21-for-27 in 11-on-11 action, with one pick on a fluttering deep ball. Maybe most impressively, he was really accurate outside the numbers. Sammy Watkins stood out again.

Some people seemed to overreact to that excellent day by the secondary on Tuesday where Jackson seemingly struggled. However, it seems like he was just shaking off some rust, as he was slinging the football around. As the offseason continues and Jackson keeps getting reps, he should become even sharper as the 2021 regular season approaches.
