On Saturday in “things I didn’t expect to see happening on Twitter.com,” reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and President Donald Trump shared pleasantries over a old clip from the 2018 NFL Draft.
Former Louisville star Jaire Alexander was selected 18th overall by the Packers, and during an interview on draft night, he stopped to celebrate the news that Jackson, his college teammate, was taken with the last pick of the first round by the Ravens. It was a wonderful, wholesome moment that went viral at the time, and Jackson retweeted the clip on Saturday after it was shared by The Checkdown, an NFL account.

Trump, who does not follow Jackson on Twitter, responded to the MVP’s tweet by remarking that it was a great pick by the Ravens.
Really nice to see this and, what a great pick! https://t.co/91104h0sd1

Jackson, in turn, tweeted “Truzz Trump,” a play on the Ravens’ “Big Truss” motto.
