Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson has developed into one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the NFL

Since entering the league, the crowd of experts and pundits who openly criticized Lamar Jackson or believed he was just a running quarterback has been silenced.

Through six games played this season, Jackson has now shut up the pundits who believed he couldn’t play the quarterback position at a highly efficient or cerebral level.

Baltimore is 4-2, atop the AFC North, a Super Bowl favorite, and one of the league’s top teams because Jackson is one of the most efficient passers on the planet.

In the Week Six win over the Browns, Jackson was 20/26 passing for 323 yards (12.4 avg), one touchdown, and one fluke interception. Most importantly, Jackson had a 114.7 rating.

After today’s performance, Jackson is 5th in the NFL in QBR and 4th in raw QB Rating.

On the season, Jackson’s 1,529 passing yards are fourth in the NFL, his ten touchdowns are fifth in the NFL, and he’s No. 1 in first-down percentage.

It’s just one-third of the season, but Jackson has put himself squarely in position to win back-to-back MVPs.
