Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the last three days due to a stomach virus. While everyone was excited to have him back, those emotions were tempered when the MVP cut out early, lasting just one hour.
According to an ESPN report, Jackson “looked weary while walking across the field and into the team facility.”
Some observers noted that Jackson didn’t look at himself in drills today and may not have been feeling 100% well.
“We are going to work him back in, for sure,” Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken said, reportedly with a smile.
“I know I’m being a smartass. You’ll have to ask him how he feels. But he was great in meetings.
“When we were on the field at the start [of practice], he said he was feeling good.”
Jackson split time with the ones with backup QB Josh Johnson. And while he didn’t throw a ton of practices on Wednesday, he did have a nice deep ball completion to backfield mate Derrick Henry.
