Lamar Jackson clears up post-game Instagram Live situation with Marlon Humphrey: ‘I’m all about winning’

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey is known for his vibrant personality and sense of humor off the field. For years, Humphrey has followed up on victories by going live on Instagram and having fun with his teammates. Still, quarterback Lamar Jackson did not seem to want any part of it after the Ravens narrowly escaped a fourth-quarter comeback against the Dallas Cowboys.

We shouldn’t even be on live right now,Jackson said when being questioned by Humphrey on the plane following the game.

Jackson was asked about the situation after the video gained traction online.

I just didn’t want the camera on me at the time,Jackson said. “[Marlon Humphrey] knows this, I’m all about winning. I don’t want to say win in style, but when we’re up, I just want to punish people. I just want to get out of there with a dub – clear-minded. We have things to work on. There’s always going to be things to work on, no matter if you beat a team 40 to nothing or 28-26, but I didn’t want the camera on me. That’s my brother – I know he’s going to do what he does, but it’s like, ‘Not right now. I’m a little ticked off on how the game went.’ That’s all.

The Ravens have become notorious for blowing fourth-quarter leads in recent seasons, so it should be no surprise that someone as serious about winning as Jackson was not pleased with almost letting it happen again. After getting their first win of the season, Baltimore now returns home for a big showdown on Sunday Night Football with the undefeated Buffalo Bills.
