Lakers vs. Wizards: Lineups, injury reports and broadcast info for Friday

Here’s all you need to know ahead of Friday’s Lakers vs Wizards game.

The Los Angeles Lakers play the Washington Wizards on Friday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

L.A. continues to sag to new lows, as it lost in overtime to the Houston Rockets, the Western Conference’s worst team, in overtime on Wednesday. LeBron James was a major culprit, as he had a bad shooting night and missed all but one of his 3-point attempts.

As has been the case all season, the Lakers’ defense was as porous as a house infested with termites. They gave up 120 points in regulation and allowed the Rockets to score 10 unanswered points to start the extra period, which doomed their chances of victory.

After starting the season strong, the Wizards have fallen back to earth with a 29-35 record. Their star player, guard Bradley Beal, is out for the balance of the schedule with a wrist injury, and without him, they have struggled to dig out wins.

This contest will be something of a reunion, as Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will face their former teammates for the first time this season. Both were traded for Russell Westbrook last summer.
