The best bets as the Los Angeles Lakers play on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Los Angeles Lakers play the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 5 p.m. PT and can be seen on Spectrum SportsNet and Bally Sports South/Southeast/Southwest/Midwest.

Los Angeles (13-12) is coming off a win against the Boston Celtics in one of its most convincing victories of the year. LeBron James and Russell Westbrook led the charge with strong outings in the first and third quarters, while the defensive intensity picked up in the second half. If the Lakers can build on that momentum, it could lead to a second straight victory.

Memphis (14-11) has been without its franchise cornerstone, Ja Morant, but has still managed to post a 5-1 record without his athletic scoring presence. The Grizzlies lost last night to the Dallas Mavericks, so the rest advantage is with the Lakers. Memphis lost to Los Angeles earlier in the year despite Morant’s Herculean efforts, so it’ll be interesting to see who leads the way in this one.

Lakers at Grizzlies notable injuries:

Lakers: OUT – Trevor Ariza (ankle), Kendrick Nunn (knee); Probable – LeBron James (abdominal), Anthony Davis (thumb)

Grizzlies: Not yet submitted an injury report. Kyle Anderson and Brandon Clarke missed the previous game, while Ja Morant is in health and safety protocols. Ziaire Williams is day-to-day.

Advice and prediction

If the Lakers take advantage of Memphis’ situation and bring the same form from Boston’s game, the outcome should be promising. Slowing Jaren Jackson Jr. will be key, and that will fall on the shoulders of LeBron if he starts at the 4 again. The Grizzlies have been a gritty team for years, so even though Morant is out of the picture, Memphis has already proved this season not to doubt its depth.

Still, this is a game the Lakers need to win, so take the Lakers minus-3.5, Lakers minus-170 and the under 223.5.

Prediction: Lakers 109, Grizzlies 101
