Lakers vs. Cavaliers: Lineups, injury reports and broadcast info for Oct. 29

Here’s what you need to know as the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in Staples Center Friday.

The Los Angeles Lakers play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

Los Angeles is coming off a brutal loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder — the Lakers blew a 26-point lead — but the Cleveland Cavaliers will not make life any easier.

The Lakers have a stacked injury report for this game. LeBron James is questionable with right ankle soreness. Rajon Rondo was added to the last after rolling his ankle against Oklahoma City.

Cleveland runs a ginormous starting five with 7-foot Lauri Markkanen starting at small forward, 7-foot power forward Evan Mobley and 6-foot-11 center Jarrett Allen. It’s a clunky fit on offense, but the Cavs don’t allow opponents to score with Mobley and Allen’s stout rim protection.

The Cavaliers have won three straight, so the Lakers will have their work cut out. It’ll be interesting to see LeBron’s status for the game. His downhill penetration could be the swing factor in the outcome of this one, otherwise Cleveland will find it easy to pack the paint.
