The Los Angeles Lakers look to even their series against the Houston Rockets on Sunday night but they won’t be making any major lineup changes, at least not yet. On Sunday, they will also be honoring the memory of Kobe Bryant and Gigi Bryant by wearing their special “Black Mamba” edition uniforms when they take on James Harden, Russell Westbrook and the Rockets.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports was the first to report that there would be no lineup changes for the Lakers in tonight’s Game 2. Many, including this blog, had wondered aloud about whether the Lakers needed to insert more scoring to the starting unit with Kyle Kuzma.

Another, less considered option, was moving a guard like Rajon Rondo or Alex Caruso into McGee’s place. However, it appears that Vogel and the Lakers coaching staff are sticking with what got them here. Hopefully for their sake, they will have a similar result in this Game 2 that they did in Game 2 of the first round.
