Los Angeles Lakers guard Talen Horton-Tucker has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocol and has been listed as out for Wednesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reports Horton-Tucker could miss multiple games, which is usually 10 days if a player doesn’t return two negative tests within a 24-hour period.
It’s unfortunate timing for the 21-year-old wing considering he just put up his best two-way game of the season. Horton-Tucker scored 19 points and logged six steals in the win against the Orlando Magic.
He admitted after the game that he’s getting more comfortable being a starter, but this will keep him out of the lineup for the time being.
