Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said Wednesday LeBron James and Russell Westbrook will play at least two preseason games.
Vogel revealed the plan after the Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns. The two stars did not appear in that game though they practiced pregame.
James and Westbrook also did not play Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets, along with Trevor Ariza, who will be out for at least eight weeks.
Los Angeles does not look like a cohesive team with the chance of contending without two of its three stars, but the good thing is they have missed games for rest. It’ll be interesting to see when Vogel and the staff plan to have those two get on the court.
