The Los Angeles Lakers and their fans don’t have to wait very long before they get to see their newest center in uniform. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel told reporters on Tuesday that the Lakers would waste no time in getting Andre Drummond in the lineup, announcing that their new center will start on Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Of course, with Drummond entering the starting lineup, that likely means a smaller role for Marc Gasol. But given the fact the Lakers are so shorthanded and that Gasol can shoot the 3-pointer, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Drummond and Gasol share the floor at times.

Wednesday night’s game against the Bucks is the last game at home for the Lakers for a long time. While they will play one game in their next seven at Staples Center, they will be doing it between road games in Sacramento and Tampa (Raptors), as part of a seven-game stretch as the visitor.
