Lakers’ LeBron James, Russell Westbrook to make preseason debut vs. Warriors

The Los Angeles Lakers will have LeBron James and Russell Westbrook on the court for the first time this season.

LeBron James and Russell Westbrook will make their preseason debut for the Los Angeles Lakers tonight against the Golden State Warriors, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

James and Westbrook sat against the Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns for rest, so fans will finally get a glimpse of how the team will play with those two in action.

However, the full trio won’t be on the court together. Anthony Davis will rest for this game after playing in the first two.

It’s unclear how many minutes James and Westbrook will play, but the first quarter will reveal some ways the staff wants the two to operate when sharing the floor.

It’ll also be interesting to see who gets the nod to start at shooting guard. Malik Monk has been the most impressive scorer, but nothing is set in stone yet.
