Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is now a game-time decision against the Boston Celtics, head coach Frank Vogel said Friday.
James has missed the last eight games with an abdominal strain he initially suffered in the second win against the Houston Rockets.
LeBron has reportedly progressed well with on-court workouts and looks better in pre-game warmups, increasing his chance of returning to action tonight. The Celtics have two strong forwards in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who is questionable with a hamstring injury, that James would need to match up against.
If he does play, he could end up on a minutes restriction to gradually ease him back into game conditioning.
