The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly expected to acquire Dennis Schroder from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for the 28th overall pick in the NBA draft, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Thunder are also expected to acquire Danny Green in the deal, which can be completed as soon as Monday afternoon when the NBA is expected to lift the transaction window. Schroder was viewed as perhaps the most sought-after guards on the trade market.

Following the completion of the trade, the Thunder will have the 25th pick and 28th pick in the first round. They also have as many as 14 other first-round picks before the 2026 NBA draft after previous trades involving Russell Westbrook and Paul George.

The Thunder have been rumored into wanting to trade up ahead of the draft on Wednesday and certainly have the assets to facilitate such a potential move. The organization could also trade Chris Paul prior to next season and have additional draft picks.

The NBA draft is scheduled to begin Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on ESPN.
