The Los Angeles Lakers continue their seven-game journey as the visiting squad on Sunday afternoon back in Los Angeles against the Clippers, in what could be a big game for playoff seeding. For as much as the Lakers and their fans may insist that playoff seeding doesn’t matter, making it harder on yourself in the playoffs isn’t doing yourself any favors in a real playoff scenario with travel involved.
And while LeBron James has had success on the road in the playoffs, he’s never been lower than a 4-seed and still made the Finals. So, the opportunity for the Lakers to pick up a game on the Clippers is key. It’s also a crucial game for the season series between the two teams, which the Clippers currently lead 1-0 after their opening night win.
The Clippers have struggled as of late and Paul George is dealing with a foot issue, in addition to other injuries the Clippers are dealing with, so they may be vulnerable in a key spot for the Lakers.
Here’s when you should tune in to see the game:
- Date: April 3
- Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
- TV Channel: ABC
- Spread via BetMGM: Clippers -11
