Lakers’ Anthony Davis out for remainder of game vs. Trail Blazers with stomach illness

Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is out for the rest of the Portland Trail Blazers game after playing seven minutes in the 1st quarter.

The Los Angeles Lakers announced star big man Anthony Davis is out for the rest of the game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Lakers are listing it as stomach illness after Davis played seven minutes in the first quarter, but the Blazers went up by 21 points in that period.

Davis logged two points on 1-of-5 shooting and grabbed three rebounds in his minutes, but he couldn’t prevent the bleeding happening on both ends of the floor.

Davis entered the game as questionable because of a thumb injury he suffered against the Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday, but he tested it out prior to tipoff and gave it a go.
