The Los Angeles Lakers are bringing back one of their most vocal leaders and a key voice throughout their run to the 2020 championship. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news on Monday that the Lakers have agreed to bring back Jared Dudley, who played sparingly on the Lakers put played a key role both in the locker room and on the bench during games.
Dudley, of course, is thrilled to be back with the Lakers. His tweet announcing the news to his followers also got a lot of laughter and quite a reaction from LeBron James, who is also clearly excited to have one of the key veteran personalities from last year’s success back with the team.

Dudley, again, was not a big factor for the Lakers on the court in the postseason but he was almost like another coach for the Lakers last season, helping call out plays from other teams in the bubble and help during film sessions with LeBron James and the rest of the squad. The Lakers have gotten a lot better in terms of the talent on their roster and they also kept one of their key personalities that helped foster arguably the best team chemistry in the NBA last season.
