Former UCLA star Laiatu Latu will be heading back to Los Angeles for the 2024 NFL Players Rookie Premiere. Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network announced the players coming for the event, and Latu was one of just two defensive players to join.
Latu led the nation in tackles for loss per game and ranked fourth in the country in sacks per game. He became the first-ever UCLA football player to win both the Lombardi Award and the Ted Hendricks award. Latu was also named the Pac-12 Conference defensive player of the year in 2023.
Caleb Williams and Marshawn Lloyd of USC, Bo Nix, Troy Franklin and Bucky Irving of Oregon, Jalen McMillan, Ja’Lynn Polk, Rome Odunze, and Michael Penix of Washington will also be part of the invite out of the Pac-12 Conference.

The event is made for sports trading cards, so it will be an opportunity for fans to get to see their favorite new players in their new team gear. Mostly skill players got the invite which makes it even more of an honor for Latu.
