Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle La’el Collins has had his fair share of injury woes dating back to the summer when he signed with the team.
That saga took another turn on Thursday as Collins missed practice with an unspecified illness.
Collins had his entire summer derailed by a back issue that he’s been admittedly battling all season, too. He’s been taking veteran rest days early in the week leading up to games, so his outright missing due to an actual listed illness is rather notable.
No word on if this development will impact his ability to play against the Panthers this weekend. Collins joined Tre Flowers, Josh Tupou and Mike Hilton as notables not practicing, while Joseph Ossai and Stanley Morgan were limited. Eli Apple was upgraded to full practice.
