The timetable for Kyrie Irving’s return from his right shoulder impingement remains unclear. The point guard is set to miss another matchup with his former team, the Boston Celtics. He has been ruled out for Friday’s game at Barclays Center.
Irving has missed Brooklyn’s last seven games. They’ve gone 5-2 without him.
DeAndre Jordan has been absent for the Nets in the last two games, but he could play in the back end of the home-and-home series with the Celtics. He’s been dealing with left ankle soreness and is listed as probable.
Friday’s noon matchup is the first of two home games the Nets have over the weekend. On Sunday, the Nets host the red hot Miami Heat at 3 p.m.
