Kyrie Irving is ruled out for Game 7 vs. Bucks

Steve Nash confirms that Kyrie Irving will miss Game 7 against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Brooklyn Nets are set to play their biggest game in over a decade on Saturday at home. A victory can secure a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals, while a loss will result in an early vacation. It’s a do-or-die game.

After suffering a sprained ankle in Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks, Kyrie Irving missed Games 5 and 6 in this series and is now set to miss Game 7 as confirmed by head coach Steve Nash. He did mention that Irving is progressing and that if the team advances, “he’d be able to return at some point.”

This is a huge blow for Brooklyn because the Nets guard is averaging 22.7 PPG along with 3.4 APG on 47 percent shooting from the field. This team has shown; however, that they are capable of beating this Bucks team without him.
