Kyrie Irving followed up his 21-point, 20-minute performance against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday with a 32-point game against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday. Although the latter performance didn’t result in a win — the Nets lost 118-107 — Irving’s play shows his shoulder is feeling good.
Following Sunday’s game, the Brooklyn point guard was so confident with how his shoulder felt that he said he would play in the team’s upcoming back-to-back, which started on Tuesday. The Nets now have a game in Philadelphia against the 76ers on Wednesday.
Following Tuesday’s loss, Irving confirmed he will still be available to play on the second half of the back-to-back, per Anthony Puccio of Nets Daily.
“I feel good. Being out gave time to slow down, get healthy & put an emphasis on my body. Early in the season, I had 3 broken bones in my face & I got hit again in China. I think that’s what attributed to my shoulder impingement, trying to make up for lost time.”

The Sixers have lost their last two games, first to the Dallas Mavericks, then the Indiana Pacers. Philly failed to reach the century mark in both of those contests.
