It would appear that the return of Kyler Murray will have to wait at least another week. The Arizona Cardinals released their final injury report of the week and Murray is officially listed as doubtful for the game.
Murray, currently on the PUP (physically unable to perform) reserve, would have had to be activated and active on Sunday if the Cardinals had not added a game designation.
The Cardinals designated him to return from PUP on Wednesday before their game last week against the Seattle Seahawks, opening a 21-day window for him to be activated.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Kyler would make his return in November after the Cardinals used up all or almost all of his 21-day practice window. That would be either next weekend on the road against the Cleveland Browns or at home in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons.
He began this week on the injury report as a full participant in practice. On Thursday, though, he was taken off the injury report. He did not have a practice designation on Friday but still is listed as doubtful.
We should not expect him to be activated on Saturday.
