In this strange NFL offseason, the Arizona Cardinals have not yet been able to practice on the field. In fact, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, quarterback Kyler Murray has not yet been able to work out at all with his receivers.
Cardinals fans are used to hearing about Larry Fitzgerald getting together with his quarterback or Carson Palmer bringing his receivers out to California to work out while they are between the offseason and training camp.
That will be coming soon, according to new Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
“Kyler and I obviously during quarantine, not a lot of people have been able to meet up,” Hopkins said on ESPN’s Jalen and Jacoby show.
They have been in frequent contact.
“We’ve definitely been communicating and talking football,” he said. “We plan on getting together pretty soon along with the other receivers.”
Since Murray has not been able to practice with his teammates yet this offseason, getting to it soon will be good news for Cardinals fans, who are optimistic about their potential this season.
