Almost every single time Kyler Murray steps onto a football field, he knows he’s the fastest person on the field. And that certainly has its advantages, especially when he gets into open space.
But you’ll never see a player call his shot nearly half a football field away from the end zone. Kyler is just different like that.
On the Cardinals’ opening drive of Sunday’s Week 5 game against the 49ers, Murray broke free for a 50-yard touchdown run. It was the longest touchdown run of Murray’s NFL career. And as impressive as the play was, his celebration was even cooler.
Take a look at where Murray started to celebrate.

The Cardinals quarterback raised his hand at around the 44-yard line as he outran the entire 49ers defense. Murray knew that with all that space in front of him, nobody was catching him. And, like, he *really* knew it.
Murray’s speed is just something else.
