Kyler Murray asked Myles Garrett about the Halloween QB graveyard in a funny mic’d-up exchange

Kyler saw those photos.

Kyler Murray is among the early favorites for NFL MVP, and for good reason. He has the Arizona Cardinals off to a perfect 6-0 start to the season. He’s electrifying to watch and real easy to root for — even among his fellow NFL players.

So, it did probably come as a surprise to Murray to be included among Browns defensive end Myles Garrett’s Halloween decorations.

Last week, photos hit social media of a quarterback graveyard set up throughout the front lawn of Garrett’s home. While the quarterbacks included just happened to be the starting quarterbacks on the Browns’ schedule, it was probably reasonable of Murray to think “why was I there” upon first glance.

Well, he asked Garrett just that after the Cardinals’ Week 6 win.

NFL Films shared mic’d-up footage of the postgame exchange between the two stars, and Murray asked Garrett, “Why you got me in the graveyard, dog?”

Garrett said he needed some added motivation, and Murray pointed out that at least his tombstone didn’t have “RIP over it.”

“Especially not tonight. You balled,” Garrett replied.

But hey, if Garrett was using the graveyard decorations as added motivation, it sure does run the risk of going both ways. Murray clearly had that one on his mind.
