It would be a pretty big stunner if Pitts fell out of the top 10, but the placement for Toney has been a bit more fluid. Some mocks show him pushing the top 20, while a few have him falling out of the first round entirely. This mock has him going near the end of the round, joining a Super Bowl contender in Green Bay that continues to search for the right formula around Aaron Rodgers to capture a second title.
Green Bay adds some speed to the wide receiver room in the form of Kadarius Toney. The Packers now have Davante Adams and Toney to get open for Aaron Rodgers.
These would be pretty ideal landing spots for both. Though Pitts would have less quarterback certainty than Toney with second-year passer Tua Tagovailoa, he’d be the face of the Dolphins target and would certainly aid in Tagovailoa’s development. Meanwhile, Toney would be plugged right into an elite offense, where he would almost certainly have a chance to shine.

However, one glaring omission in the first two rounds of the CBS mock draft is quarterback Kyle Trask. Most draft scouts don’t expect Trask to be one of the many passers likely to be selected in the first round, but he’s received fairly consistent second to early third-round grades. In McShay’s two-round mock, he has Trask going in the second round at 52nd overall to Chicago.
He’s not getting the love on this mock, though, and after it was projected to have two players go in the first round, the CBS mock has no Gators being selected in Round 2.
