Florida Gators tight end Kyle Pitts should hear his name called early in April’s 2021 NFL draft as he’s among the top prospects overall. In all likelihood four quarterbacks will be selected in the top five but Pitts could be in contention to hear his name called as the first non-quarterback in this draft.

That’s especially the case if he keeps leaving an impression on scouts, analysts and teams.

The latest to praise the 6-foot-6-inch, 240-pound tight end is All Bengals publisher James Rapien who broke down what the Cincinnati Bengals can do at No. 5 overall which included potentially selecting Pitts. Rapien broke down Pitts’ game and what he could bring to the table for the Bengals offense as they enter year two of the Joe Burrow era.

While Cincinnati has spent a lot of money on the defensive side of the ball, they need to address offense. Giving Burrow a weapon like Pitts could be the answer as he’s a big tight end that can be a legit weapon in the offense and especially in the red zone.

This also might be Pitts’ best fit in the top 10 too. Getting paired up with a young quarterback like Burrow and a young head coach like Zac Taylor is good situation to be in.
