Kyle Busch had the best answer after driving through the grass at Texas

Quintessential Kyle Busch.

Driving through the grass during NASCAR races isn’t usually encouraged, but Kyle Busch had no choice Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway after being involved in a 12-car wreck early in the final stage of the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500.

And although he remains winless in 2020, he still managed to have the highest finish of the four Joe Gibbs Racing cars.

Off a restart to open the third and final stage of the race, Ryan Blaney was leading the outside lane when he got loose and ignited a chain reaction with the drivers behind him starting to pile up. Busch in the No. 18 Toyota was in the middle of a three-wide situation and sandwiched between teammate Martin Truex Jr. and Joey Logano as chaos ensued.

Busch appeared to be hit by Aric Almirola in the No. 10 Ford — certainly unintentional as the cars piled up — and he then turned into Truex.

While Truex slammed into the wall, Busch went in the opposite direction and through the grass before eventually landing on the track with a still drivable car.

Busch was able to continue racing and, amazingly, drove that car back up for a fourth-place finish. Afterward during his pit road interview with NBC Sports, the reigning Cup Series champion was asked how he managed to continue competing and salvage the race.

And his response was quintessential Kyle Busch.

“KFB,” or Kyle [expletive] Busch if we really have to spell it out.
