Kyle Booker reached base twice and scored one run for Kingsport in its 10-5 victory over the Princeton WhistlePigs in an Appalachian League game Thursday.
Booker went 0-for-2, recording two walks for the Axmen (28-13). Kingsport is in first place in the league’s west division.
Booker, who stated in left field against Princeton, has appeared in 17 games, totaling 19 hits, three doubles, one triple, one home run and a .328 batting average.
As a sophomore for the Vols, Booker, recorded a .222 batting average in 29 games. He recorded 10 hits, 12 runs, three doubles and one home run.
