Tennessee outfielder Kyle Booker went 1-for-4 for Kingsport against Elizabethton in an Appalachian League game Sunday.
Kingsport defeated Elizabethton, 11-9.
Booker recorded one run scored and one RBI as the Axmen’s designated hitter.
He has appeared in 11 games for Kingsport. Booker has recorded a .306 batting average, totaling 11 hits, two doubles, 11 runs and nine RBIs during the 2022 season.
During his sophomore season with the Vols in 2022, Booker appeared in 25 games and started six contests. He hit one home run, recording 10 RBIs and 12 runs.
Booker, a native of Southaven, Mississippi, batted .222 for Tennessee (57-9). The Vols won the Southeastern Conference regular season and tournament championships.
