Kuzma powers Lakers to win over Blazers, snapping losing skid at four

The Los Angeles Lakers snapped a four-game losing streak on Saturday night with their win against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Kyle Kuzma sure picked a great time to have yet another good game on Saturday night, amidst social media chatter regarding his trainer and statements made about LeBron James. Kuzma had one of his best games of the young season on Saturday as he scored a team-high 24 points to push the Lakers to a 128-120 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.

Kuzma had 20 of his 24 points in the first half and the Lakers got some big shots down the stretch from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, as well as a few from Anthony Davis on the night. Kuzma’s big night was indicative of a big night for the Lakers bench as they had 72 points.

LeBron James also looked like he wasn’t feeling too poorly after suffering a knee to the groin in the Christmas Day loss to the Clippers. He was seven of 15 from the field and finished with 21 points and 16 assists.

James also told reporters after the game that he intends to play on Sunday in tomorrow’s nationally televised showdown with Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
