One former Alabama cornerback will be unable to showcase his skillset at the NFL Combine this weekend. According to reports, former Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry was diagnosed with having a Jones fracture in his right foot during a medical evaluation at the NFL Combine.
Instead of participating at the NFL Combine, McKinstry plans to take part in Alabama’s Pro Day on March 20.
McKinstry is widely projected to be a first-round pick by draft experts. Several have him being drafted as early as a top-10 pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
This should not affect McKinstry’s draft stock as he will reportedly be 100% by the time that training camp rolls around.
