Kentucky basketball’s Koby Brea was named SEC Co-Player of the Week after the win over Florida.

Saturday was a big day for Kentucky basketball, who started their SEC schedule off with a win over an undefeated Florida team. One of the keys to winning the game was their three-point shooting, led by Koby Brea. For his efforts, he’s been named as a Co-Player of the Week in the SEC.

As a team, the Wildcats made 48% of their shots from behind the arc against the Gators. They were led by Brea, who made 7-of-9 from three-point range and scored 23 points to lead the team.

Brea is the third different Kentucky players to win the award. Andrew Carr took it home after a big game against the Duke Blue Devils, and Lamont Butler snagged it after his performance against Louisville.

The Wildcats brought Brea in to be a three-point threat, and he has been one of the best in the country. He’s currently making 52% of his three-pointers on the season, which leads the nation.

Brea has been terrific this season, and Saturday may have been his best performance yet. Congratulations to him on the award.
