Kobe Bryant’s appearance on ‘The Last Dance’ was heartbreaking for NBA players and fans

It still doesn’t feel real that Kobe Bryant isn’t with us.

The fifth episode of “The Last Dance” on Sunday night began with some memories off Michael Jordan facing off against the great Kobe Bryant in the 1998 NBA All-Star Game, which included some great trash talk by MJ.

It also included an interview with Kobe prior to his death, which was jarring to see because it’s still incredibly sad that he, his daughter and seven other people are no longer with us after that horrific helicopter crash back in January.

Kobe talked about Jordan helped him out as a younger player, helping him through some early struggles and always being there for him through the years.

Kobe also spoke about how he didn’t care for any talk about who would win 1-on-1 games because, he said, Jordan created it all and there were no comparisons to him.
