The Arizona Cardinals fired Kliff Kingsbury as head coach after the season ended and the team finished 4-13 and lost their final seven games. He had five years remaining on his contract after signing an extension last offseason.
There is interest in him around the league as an offensive coordinator.
He is not interested at the moment.
According to FOX Sports’ Peter Schrager, several teams have reached out to him about their offensive coordinator vacancies. He has respectfully told teams he is not interested right now and is currently out of the country.
Schrager says Kingsbury bought a one-way ticket to Thailand.
It sounds like he will take some time off, perhaps this next year, before deciding to seek his next job.
