Kirk Cousins loves corn on the cob

QB1 talked about what he enjoys about the Minnesota State Fair

It’s not often that you would think of corn on the cob as a fair food but it happens to be a favorite of Kirk Cousins.

The Minnesota State Fair is known for a lot of things, especially food on a stick. Pronto pups, deep-fried candy bars and Sweet Martha’s Cookies.

Kirk Cousins visited The Great Minnesota Get Together on Thursday and spoke to the media about his favorites.

Cousins saying that Adam (Thielen) was trying to convince him about the milk is peak Minnesotan.

The top fair food for most people is a Sweet Marthas Cookie. You can get a bucket of them for $19 (about 50 cookies) and there is an all-you-can-drink milk stand for $2 per glass. It’s a staple for many Minnesotans.

The corn is another one of those favorites. Slow roasted and dipped in butter, they do a great job and even have a bin to recycle the cobs.

Personally, I’m a big Turkey To Go sandwich fan myself. The Minnesota State Fair, however, is a must for anyone who visits Minnesota. It runs this year from August 25th-Labor Day.
