[autotag]Kateri Poole[/autotag] is no longer with the LSU women’s basketball program. The news was confirmed by coach [autotag]Kim Mulkey[/autotag] after the Tigers’ 83-53 win over Louisiana on Sunday afternoon.
The junior guard is originally from the Bronx and arrived at LSU as a transfer from Ohio State last season. In her two seasons in Baton Rouge, she appeared in 39 games and made six starts, all of which came last season.
She appeared in just four games this season and had been away from the team since a win over Southeastern Louisiana on Nov. 17. It’s not clear at this point what led to Poole leaving the program.
