Another major step toward college football occurred on Tuesday when the SEC announced times and TV slots for several games this fall. This included kickoff times and TV for five of defending champion LSU’s games in 2020.
The season opener against Mississippi State will kick off at 2:30 p.m. Central time on Sept. 26 and be televised on CBS. LSU’s Week 2 game at Vanderbilt will feature a 6:30 p.m. kickoff time and be televised on the SEC Network.
LSU will travel to Florida on Oct. 17 and the game will begin at 2:30 p.m. It will be carried on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The Tigers will then head to Auburn on Halloween and that game will begin at 2:30 p.m. on CBS.

The biggest regular season game of the season generally occurs when LSU faces Alabama. This season’s version will occur on Nov. 14 and kick off at 5 p.m. The game will be televised on CBS.
The only real surprise is the kickoff time for the LSU-Alabama game, which is generally reserved for prime time.
The SEC will announce game times and TV slots for other remaining games in the near future.
