Khalil Mack was an absolute beast for the Chicago Bears against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5’s Thursday night matchup and he was a big reason why the Bears pulled off the 20-19 upset victory.
Mack ended the game with two sacks and five total pressures to go along with a batted pass for good measure.
That’s why it’s no surprise Mack finished Thursday night with the Chicago’s highest Pro Football Focus grade out of any Bear who played at least 14 snaps.
Mack ended the night with a 76.8. Interestingly, it was Mack’s lowest PFF grade of the season despite it being his most active and impactful game of the year.
Cornerback Kyle Fuller wasn’t far behind Mack. He scored a 76.5 and was especially dominant in coverage. He received an elite 89.8 score from PFF.
Fuller was targeted seven times and surrendered four catches for 35 yards, but he made what may go down as the hit of the year on Buccaneers rookie Keshawn Vaughn in the fourth quarter that resulted in a fumble and eventual score for Chicago.
