Key takeaways from first half of Chiefs vs. Buccaneers

Here are some of the things that we’re taking away from the first half of play in Super Bowl LV.

This was not exactly the start to Super Bowl LV that Kansas City Chiefs fans had hoped for. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did a good job early on of stifling Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense. Really, aside from a big fourth-down stop on the one-yard-line, I’m not sure what Kansas City did that was good in the first half.

Even with the early-game struggles and a disappointing start, this game still feels within reach with the Buccaneers leading 21-6, the Chiefs just have to get out of their own way and make it happen.
